Terms and Conditions
1. Platinum extended warranty only applies when a Yuasa Power Series Ultra Battery is installed by a Battery World team member.
2. Platinum extended warranty offers an additional 8 months to the current warranty on your Yuasa Power Series Ultra battery, up to 48 months in total on certain batteries.
3. Standard warranty terms & conditions apply for the warranty period of your Yuasa Power Series Ultra Battery and can be viewed at the Yuasa website: yuasabatteries.com.au/resources/warranty-information
4. The correct battery type, size, and capacity must be fitted to the vehicle as recommended by the manufacturer.
5. Platinum extended warranty of $15 (including GST) covers only one battery. Should your vehicle require two batteries, two Platinum extended warranty’s will have to be purchased.
6. Platinum extended warranty includes:
- Installation of your Yuasa Power Series Ultra Battery after purchase
- Inspection and cleaning of battery terminals and leads
- Vehicle charging and starter system check
- Programming of new battery to the vehicle for optimum performance should your vehicle require it.
- Recycling of your old battery
7. The battery is supplied with a warranty against defects for the period of time and application displayed on the Platinum Warranty Card.
8. If our testing determines the battery is defective, we will replace it. However, the delivery costs and/or any costs associated with collecting the battery are incurred by the purchaser
9. To claim a warranty, the dated proof of purchase is required.
10. Extended warranty only applies to vehicles for private use. Platinum extended warranty is not applicable for company vehicles, ride share or taxi vehicles.
11. The warranty period for replacement commences on the date of purchase of the defective battery it replaces.
